Induction Melting Electric Furnaces

Industrial thermoelectric induction furnace. Since 19th century, it has been used to spread the metals.

Reason for of The  the this by success of induction heating are the advantages Inherent in the this of the type of heating:

  • With induction heating, heat is released directly in the heated body;
  • High performance induction melting provides low-carbon alloying components;
  • A significantly higher heating rate is provided;
  • During the smelting process;
  • Low consumption of refractory materials for lining.

You can order the following induction furnace from us:

Induction furnace scope of use

Crucible furnaces are widely used for primary and secondary smelting of metals. It has been found that the operation has been carried out. Our products are used in such industrial sectors:

  • Metallurgy;
  • Engineering;
  • Sculpture and art casting;
  • Agriculture and railway;
  • Shipbuilding and aviation industry.

Induction melting furnaces  – ensure the production of high-quality castings that would fully meet the required standards and be suitable for further processing.

Induction Furnace – Principle of Operation

An induction furnace for melting metal is a kind of transformer:

  • The primary winding type is water cooled inductor;
  • The secondary type of winding – the load is in the crucible;
  • Conductor – remelting steel.

Raw materials are melted by Foucault currents arising under the action of electromagnetic fields generated by an inductor. This principle allows to melt an unlimited amount of steel without the use of auxiliary heat sources. This method of smelting is also good because at the output, the resulting product is practically devoid of additional impurities and retains a uniform composition. Improving the quality of output and reducing the cost of the smelting process.As a result of the use of induction furnaces of our production, the consumer significantly saves on electricity consumed during the production phase. An additional advantage of our induction furnaces is a high level of efficiency, which leads to lower costs for melting. In parallel, the time intervals between the preparation (melting) process and the creation of a new product are reduced. Types of induction furnaces

The distinction of the Induction furnace according to the operating frequency and division into 2 groups:

  • Industrial 50 Hz;
  • Average from 300 to 8000 Hz.

To make it easier for potential customers to navigate the model range of products offered, we have compiled a symbol for all categories of goods.

Induction furnace, the general scheme – IUT-Y / X:

  • And – the induction principle of heating;
  • U – metal used (A – aluminum and alloys, L – copper and alloys, C – steel products, H – cast iron);
  • T – the main distinguishing feature of the structure (crucible);
  • Y is the nominal capacity of the smelter (in tons);
  • X – plant capacity (in MW).

The main consumers of our products; Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Estonia, Ukraine and the CIS countries. In our company, you can buy non-standard furnaces according to the customer’s specifications. We provide repair services, retrofitting, modernization of smelting furnaces – of  any complexity .
